Exactly the same book is also available on Amazon.com for the rather more affordable sum of $41.97, which equals £26.58 at current exchange rates.
There is, it seems, a somewhat different pricing strategy in different markets...

And in Australia it's 114.95 AUD online from the major local chain, or 65.88 from the best online store. From Amazon US it's 59.95 with shipping (not sure if that's USD, 1 AUD = $1.03 USD). And local retailers wonder why we are ordering from overseas in increasing numbers.
