Dr Karl

Non-Australians, and British people who never wake up in the middle of the night, may never have heard of Dr Karl Kruszelnicki. He is, however, one of the most engaging, entertaining, and informative media-scientists in the world. Dr Karl is one of those people who can answer just about any question thrown at him, in his chosen domain, straight off the top of his head. (See http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/aboutkk.htm for a short bio). He has recently launched his latest book from Bondi beach. Literally launched it, that is. The book was rolled into a cylinder, placed into a small rocket, and launched from the beach.

Non-Australians can download his weekly BBC Radio 5 question and answer session, hosted on Thursday mornings between 3am and 4am by Rhod Sharp. http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive/programmes/upallnight.shtml
